Second-year Cybersecurity Engineering student at ENTI-UB (Universidad de Barcelona), passionate about offensive security, malware analysis, and building practical security tools.
Currently developing hands-on skills through personal projects including cryptographic implementations, network reconnaissance tools, and YARA rule development. Active learner on TryHackMe (SOC Level 1 path) and focused on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing techniques.
YARA rules & REMnux
Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit
Python automation tools
RSA & XOR implementations
Designed and implemented a custom set of YARA rules to identify suspicious and potentially malicious DLL files. Tested in controlled lab environment using REMnux and malware samples.
Built Python scripts for subdomain discovery, DNS information gathering, and port scanning. Applied reconnaissance and vulnerability testing techniques in controlled lab settings.
Implemented RSA encryption and decryption with large key sizes using Python. Gained hands-on experience in cryptographic algorithms and secure key management.
Developed a file encryption tool using XOR with random keys, sending encrypted data to server-side. Gained experience in basic cryptography and binary file manipulation.
Developed a tool for testing SSH services in controlled environments. Gained experience in offensive security, vulnerability assessment, and automated scripting.
Active hands-on learning path focused on malware analysis and defensive security. Building practical skills in threat detection, incident response, and security operations.
